Ted Whetstone is a keynote speaker, executive coach, and thought leader focused on organizational coherence and transformational leadership.
Drawing on more than two decades of experience leading and advising large-scale transformation initiatives, Ted works with CEOs, executive teams, and senior leaders to address challenges that often limit organizational performance, including stalled change efforts, competing priorities, leadership misalignment, organizational silos, and difficulty translating strategy into execution.
Ted's central premise is simple: most organizations do not struggle because they lack talent, effort, strategy, or commitment. They struggle because too many parts of the organization are unintentionally working against one another. His work helps leaders uncover and address these underlying conditions by strengthening alignment across strategy, leadership, culture, and execution.
Known for combining practical business experience with thought-provoking insights, Ted's keynotes and workshops help audiences move beyond symptoms and understand the deeper factors shaping organizational effectiveness. Participants leave with actionable ideas for reducing organizational friction, increasing momentum, strengthening leadership effectiveness, and creating the conditions for sustainable transformation.
Prior to becoming an executive coach, Ted held leadership roles in operations, sales, and marketing, including launching and leading the Japanese subsidiary of an American electronics company to the #2 market position in six years. He has advised leaders across Fortune 500 organizations in industries including manufacturing, technology, healthcare, transportation, financial services, and consumer products.
Ted holds a B.S. in Materials Science and Engineering from Cornell University and is a Certified Executive Coach through the International Coaching Federation.
